Welcome to my artistic blog! All original artwork is painted by Melissa O'Neal. It is my hope that this site will inspire you to use what talents you have FOR HIS GLORY.
All of us have gifts and talents given to us by our Creator, are you sharing yours?

1 Corinthians 10:31 says "Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." Even our walls can actually honor Him... and that's how I came up with the name of this studio...For His Glory Designs. Thanks for stopping by!

If you have a favorite verse that you would like to see in a painting, please email me at Meltedoneal@yahoo.com.

I thought i'd try a still life. which i havent tried since college i think! I enjoyed it more than i thought i would. I may try more versions of this, I love painting apples!
My first vendor fair at St. Paul's Christian Church. It was called Holiday Mission Market and raised funds for their first mission trip. I donated a painting to be auctioned off. That was something I had always wanted to do and it was really fun, I enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people as well as other crafters!
this is a continuation of the study of tulips with large brushstrokes. I tried it with a yellow palette this time.
I'm really having fun with brushstrokes. My daughter said this painting was just weird. Oh well you can't please everyone! I added one of my favorite verses in blue.

Little white church

This white church is surronded by red flowers in a field. I have been experimenting with a painterly style of large brush strokes are not blended in. I like the the effect of the impressionistic style.

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phil 4:19
I need reminding of this scripture every now and again.  I just have to trust Him. 9x12 inches. 1/2 inch deep. Painted black on all sides.

These two are a pair I painted this summer. I like painting on a black background. It makes the color pop more. I like the style of this and may use it more often.
